🎓 3 Levels of Kindergarten Qaida Lessons

Kids from ages 3-7 can learn Qaida in 3 easy levels that will help make rules easy.

01
The Foundation

The Foundation

This level focuses on sensory immersion and visual recognition. At this stage, toddlers are introduced to the 28 Arabic alphabet through colorful flashcards and repetitive play to build a “mental map” of each letter’s unique shape. The primary goal is mastering Makhraj, where the child learns the correct articulation points of sounds through vocal imitation. By the end of this level, the toddler should be able to identify any isolated letter and mimic its proper sound with ease.

02
The Connective Phase

The Connective Phase

This level transitions the child from single letters to the mechanics of word construction. This stage introduces the Harakaat (short vowels: Fatha, Kasra, and Damma), teaching the child how these symbols change a letter’s sound into “a, i, and u” tones. Simultaneously, students learn the concept of Joining Shapes, identifying how letters transform their appearance when they appear at the beginning, middle, or end of a word. This level bridges the gap between seeing a character and understanding its phonetic function within a sequence.

03
The Reading Launch

The Reading Launch

This step integrates all previous skills to tackle word synthesis and basic Tajweed rules. Toddlers are introduced to more complex symbols like Sukoon (no vowel sound), Tanween (double vowels), and Madd (elongated sounds). The focus shifts to blending three or four letters to read complete words smoothly. By the conclusion of this level, the student begins applying elementary Tajweed, such as distinguishing between light and heavy letters, while reciting short, familiar Surahs from the Juz Amma with newfound confidence.

Have Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

At what age can my child start the Qaida course?

While every child is different, we typically welcome students as young as 3 to 4 years old. At this age, our focus is on visual recognition and fun oral imitation to build a love for the language before moving into formal reading.

How long does it take for a toddler to finish the Qaida?

On average, a child completing two to three sessions a week may take 6 to 12 months to finish. However, we prioritize quality over speed, ensuring your child is 100% confident with their pronunciation before progressing to the Quran.

What if my child has a very short attention span?

Our lessons are specifically designed for “little explorers.” We keep sessions short and high-energy, switching between interactive games, digital drawing, and rhythmic chants every few minutes to keep them engaged and excited.

Can I track what my child is learning in class?

Yes, absolutely. Through your dedicated parent portal, you can view real-time progress reports, see which letters your child has mastered, and access teacher feedback after every single session.

Do I need to buy any physical books or materials?

No physical books are required. All necessary materials, including interactive digital Qaidas, colorful worksheets, and educational games, are provided through our online platform and are accessible 24/7.
