🧬 The Chain Reaction
How to link multiple strong letters.
Example: ( يَذَّكَّرُ ). Never pause between the two Shaddahs. It must flow like one continuous wave.
💡 Golden Tips for Lesson 15
1. Don’t Run Out of Breath!
Words like (مِن شَرِّ النَّفَّاثَاتِ) are long. Take a deep breath before starting. Rushing causes you to “eat” letters or miss the Shaddah timing.
2. Connect, Don’t Cut
The biggest mistake here is stopping between words. When you see (إِنَّ الَّذِينَ), jump straight from the “Noon” to the “Lam”. Bridge the gap!
3. Give Ghunnah Its Time
In words like (الْمُزَّمِّلُ), the “Meem” has a Shaddah. You MUST hold the nasal sound (Ghunnah) for 2 counts. It adds beauty to the recitation.

💬 Common Questions About Lesson 15
Mastering the “Double Shaddah” challenge.
What is the focus of Lesson 15?
This lesson focuses on words with multiple Shaddahs. You will learn how to connect two or more stressed letters in a single flow without pausing.
How do I read (يَذَّكَّرُ) smoothly?
Break it down mentally but connect it vocally: Yazz… Zakk… Karu. Ensure the pressure moves from the first letter directly to the next.
Is there Ghunnah in (عِلِّيِّينَ)?
No. Ghunnah is only for Noon and Meem. The Shaddah on Lam and Ya here just requires strong emphasis (strength), not a nasal sound.
Why is (الْمُزَّمِّلُ) difficult?
Because it has a Zai Shaddah (Buzzing sound) followed immediately by a Meem Shaddah (Nasal Ghunnah). You must switch between the “Zzz” sound and the “Mmm” sound cleanly.
How to handle the Tanween in (فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا)?
The Tanween on “Lun” merges into the “Lam”, creating a Shaddah. Read it as “Fa’aalul-lima”. Do not pronounce the ‘N’ of Tanween clearly.
Can I pause in the middle of a word?
Never. Stopping in the middle of a word (like saying Al-Mud…. Dathiru) breaks the meaning and structure. You must complete the word in one breath.
What if I cannot pronounce it fast?
Speed is not the goal; accuracy is. Read slowly. Give each Shaddah its full weight. Speed will come naturally with practice.
You’ve Climbed the Peak!
