I am Sheikh Hamdy Mohamed Ismail El-Soussy, a Quran and Arabic teacher. I stay in Giza, Egypt, and I hold a Licence in Languages and Translation from Al-Azhar University, majoring in English Literature.
I memorized the entire Holy Quran at a young age and studied Tajweed with Sheikh Sabry Ragab, a member of Egypt’s Quran Review Committee. I have been teaching non-Arabic speakers (men and children) for more than five years, helping them improve their Quran recitation and understanding step by step.
My students learn from the Arabic alphabet all the way to Ijazah, depending on their level. I use interactive exercises and online quizzes (Wordwall, Quizizz, Kahoot) to make lessons fun and effective. By Allah’s grace, my students can easily recognize and apply Tajweed rules from the Quran.
I also teach Arabic language to non-native speakers using “Arabic Between Our Children’s Hands” and “Arabic Between Your Hands”, supported by videos that make learning easier and more enjoyable. In addition, I teach Islamic studies to help students understand Islam correctly and live by its beautiful teachings.
